Appointed Representative or Referral Partner – which is right for you?
There are two main ways to work with Rush. The right option depends on whether you want your team to be involved in the regulated insurance sale or simply direct customers to us. Whichever route you choose, our Trade Team will help you understand the requirements and get everything set up.

Introduce customers to Rush
As an Appointed Representative, your business can carry out the regulated insurance activities agreed with Rush. This may include discussing, arranging and selling travel insurance. Rush acts as your Principal and provides ongoing oversight, training and compliance support.
- May discuss, arrange and sell travel insurance within agreed permissions
- Takes part in the regulated customer journey
- Operates under Rush’s oversight and compliance framework
- Is listed on the FCA Financial Services Register as an Appointed Representative
Best suited to: Established travel businesses that want their teams directly involved in offering travel insurance.
Under our referral-only model, you direct customers to Rush, normally through a dedicated link. We then provide the product information, quotation and purchase journey directly to the customer.
- Introduces customers but does not arrange the insurance sale
- Must not advise, recommend a policy or discuss whether it is suitable
- Rush handles the quotation, payment and policy purchase
- Can be set up as an Introducer or, for online partners, through a tracked Affiliate link
Best suited to: Travel agents and tour operators wanting a straightforward referral option, and websites or digital platforms looking for an affiliate relationship.
